Iteeah Pounds, PHR - Senior Consultant

Iteeah Pounds is DSD Business Solutions of Georgia's Senior Consultant for Human Resources and Personnel.    For over 15 years she has assisted many organizations to successfully improve their Human Resources and Personnel Recruitment processes.   Iteeah‘s human resources experience includes responsibility for creating and implementing a full-cycle recruiting and selection processes,  employee relations programs, soft skills training and benefits and payroll administration for both exempt and non-exempt employees.

As a corporate recruiter, Iteeah successfully decreased costs for her client after they implemented an in-house recruiting process under her direction.  She was able to bring in house responsibility for maintaining company policies and procedures that complied with state and federal laws relating to employment.   Iteeah implemented an Applicant Tracking System which improved the workflow in the recruiting process at a cost saving to her client.  Iteeah assisted with the development of the first Cultural Diversity training for the City of Douglasville's Police Department. This customized training program was presented to a staff of over 100 police officers and police administrators.  She has also created and facilitated Workforce Development Trainings for several non-profit organizations and community groups.

After hours, Iteeah is actively involved in community organizations such as the Match Mentor Program with the Douglas County School System and is also an active member of the Promotions Committee with the Downtown Douglasville Authority.  Iteeah created a "Tips for Teens" workshop which assisted her community's teens to obtain summer employment.  Iteeah was recognized for being the City of Douglasville's 2009 Volunteer of the Year.

Iteeah earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University and also also holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certificate.
